MES - Make-up/Hair

For the make up in the music video, there is two rather contrasting looks. As we want to portray the two opposite lifestyles, the make up is very different for both so that it stands out when looking at the character. As we want them to see both personalities through just looking at the female.

When the main character returns home, her make up will be rather worn away as it is implying that she has been out all night. At this point, we know as producers that she has just returned from a sequences of events ending in a poker game, so the audience believe. Therefore, due to the vast amount of time spent out the house and in the different clubs, the make up that once used to be rather sophisticated and sharp is now faded and rather worn down looking.

Looking at people such as Ke$ha for features such as the eye make up and then Cristina Aguilera more for the lips and the skin. 

The more natural look is expected to be created when the artist is getting ready for the day of work that she has ahead, in what the audience gather due to the clothing and sophistication, the business industry. This will show the more innocent, yet still as powerful side of the character. She will be portrayed as the very formal and sophisticated professional that does not part take in the conning antics that the audience witness previously.

Looking at people more based around Ellie Goulding for the neutral look and lack of make-up. 

For the characters hair, as she goes out the for the night, the females hair will be more wild and messier than when she is going to work. Her hair most likely will be slightly wavy and will have a good amount of volume, This is to show that she has gone to a fair amount of effort to prepare herself to go out for the evening. Wavy hair in general is seen as the stereotypical party hair due to its messy look and the fact that the female can scuff or mess their hair up and still look good. 

On the contrary, the female hair when she is going to work will be more professional and formal due to the working environment. The females hair will be straight as it is quite simplistic yet looks very basic yet elegant. Not much is done with her hair from that point, as she is working, her appearance is not the main issue as when she is out at night, is obviously is.
