Preliminary Task - Location

The opening to the music video is two characters in a dark room. It is a very intense scene as the only shots used were close ups and mid shots. This is done so that the characters emotions are the main features of the scene and not the surroundings. Therefore, for our opening scene we filmed in a small class room at our school, in which all the lights were off and the blinds were closed.
This ensured that the atmosphere was how it intended to be, dark and rather intimate.

The remaining of the minute was set in a field or playing ground; the only characteristics that we had to ensure were present were obviously low branches trees in which I could walk through as well as a bench. We decided to film in the field in the small village, Newport.
We were able to film every single shot with no problem.
